Morocco Tour September 2021

Morocco is the gateway to Africa and a country of amazing diversity. Here you'll find epic mountain ranges, ancient cities, sweeping deserts and warm hospitality. Join us on a unique motorcycle tour to the exotic world of Morocco. Experience the feeling of being on the trail of an ancient secret, a life long before our time.
On this motorcycle tour on you will experience being far away from the beaten track. You will be on the road where the country is still authentic and realise the dream to ride the African continent on motorcycle.
Experience the twisting roads of the Atlas mountains, the sunset in the desert, or ride on the winding coastal roads of the Atlantic.
This tour is considered to be a "Real Adventure Tour" with accommodation being a mixture of hotels and wild camping and will be based around the mid and high Atlas mountains. In the main we will be staying away from the large cities, although we will be visiting places of interest.
Also accompanying ourselves will be our 4x4 support vehicle which will carry our luggage as well as drinks, food and supplies.

Another benefit of the tour is that not everyone wants to, or has the ability to go off-road, so on a couple of days we are going to split into 2 groups where half can go off road and half can go tarmac and meet up at the end of the day. That way people can enjoy Morocco without the worry of being off road.

Sep 11th.  Airport transfer and check-in with accommodation at the Guesthouse

Sep 12th.  Tour & Hotel accommodation at Chefchauoen

Leaving Velez we head west through the Sierra de Tejeda passing lakes and wonderful scenery, then still heading west we ride through the Sierra de las Nieves before passing Ronda and onto Algeciras to catch the ferry to Tangiers and then onto our accommodation at Chefchauoen

Sep 13th and 14th.  Tour & wild camping accommodation

Heading south we make our way through the Moroccan countryside along winding roads and villages towards Meknes and then on to Khenifra and the Middle Atlas mountains where we will find amazing locations to camp for the night and relax with a few drinks round the campfire.

Sep 15th.  Tour & Hotel accommodation at Boumaine

After packing up camp we continue to head south to the famous Dades Gorge which is a series of rugged wadi gorges carved out by the Dadès River before heading to Boumaine for our hotel accommodation.

Sep 16th and Sep 17th.  Tour & wild camping accommodation

Now in the High Atlas mountains we continue to explore this forgotten wilderness and scenery that time seemed to forget, we ride though traditional berber villages where everyone waves and smiles and be constantly amazed at every turn as we head northeast to Debdou.

Sep 18th.  Tour & accommodation at our Guesthouse

 We now leave the Altlas mountains behind us as we head north towards the Rif mountains and Nador to catch the ferry back to Almeria then ride west back to Velez de Benaudalla for our last nights accommodation in our guesthouse
